A caterpillar smaller than 1 mm

(2 March 2018) A weird fluffy thing appeared on the wall of my house, the other day. Size: 14x8mm. After a few days little dots appeared around it (see photo at right). They did not seem to move, but the next days the pattern had changed… they had to be alive. Time for the macro-lens. Each of these little dots was at most one millimetre long, so really small!
Anyway, the photo showed, enlarged, that these tiny things are caterpillars. Even the first hairs can already be seen. So the fluffy thing has to be the home of the eggs, I guess.
Life comes in many shapes and sizes.
Cute.
